Access Rights and Privileges
Every employee of an organization is entered into the main User Center. Some employees are then assigned roles that will enable them to access various elements of the Halogen TalentSpace suite of applications and designated employee information. Various access rights and privileges are associated with the assigned roles.
While every organization is different, the following illustrates different end users and their roles with associated access rights within the Halogen TalentSpace application.

Employee
This end user is usually a staff member hired by an organization and is also referred to as a Direct Report, Representee and Coached employee.
Employees can access their personal data from the My Performance area along with managing their feedback. They will have access to their tasks, the Feed, and Talent View if configured by your site, and when applicable.
Manager
This end user is a supervisor of at least one employee. They are responsible for managing their Direct Reports.
Managers can access their Direct Reports’ personal data from the My Employees area. They can also access Reports, the Talent View and Talent Search areas if configured by your site, and when applicable.
A Second Level Manager is a supervisor of at least one Direct Manager. A Third and Forth Level Manager is a supervisor of at least one Second Level Manager or Third Level Manager respectively.
Direct Report
A Direct Report is an employee under the direction/guidance of a Manager.
HR Representative
This end user is a Human Resource employee who provides direction/guidance to at least one employee. They are responsible for managing their Representees.
HR Reps can have access to their Representees’ personal data located in the My Employees area. They can also access Reports, the Talent View and Talent Search area when applicable.
Representee
A Representee is an employee under the direction/guidance of an HR Representative.
Career Coach
This end user is an experienced colleague who provides one-on-one mentoring to other employee(s) for guidance and personal growth.
Coaches can have access to their Coached Employees’ personal data located in the My Employees area. They can also access Reports, the Talent View and Talent Search areas if configured by your site, and when applicable.
Organization Coach
This end user is an employee that acts as a mentor for the entire organization, except for those employees who work in the same department as the Organization Coach.
Coaches can have access to their Coached Employees’ personal data located in the My Employees area. They can also access Reports, the Talent View and Talent Search areas if configured by your site, and when applicable.
Coached Employee
A Coached employee is under the direction/guidance of a Career or Organization Coach.
